I am excited to tell you about a very special and private (and limited seating) event to 
meet Mary Reed, author of The Unwitting Mystic. Although she lives in the Himalayas during ¾ of the year, she has been heard worldwide and will be in our area later this month for speaking engagements. We are fortunate to get the opportunity to meet her in a private, in a more intimate setting where we can ask her questions.
I became friends with her through John Smallman, who many of you know. I am inviting you to the event which will be held in the condo meeting room of my friends, Jessica Saepof and Randy Styer on Mercer Island. BIO: Mary Reed is an “accidental” modern mystic who grew up devoutly agnostic. In 2011 she left her executive life in Washington, DC for a monastic life in the Himalayas after struggling for eleven years with the impact of veering uncontrollably into otherworldly realms encountering God, Jesus, Buddha, angels and unfathomable wisdom. These events finally turned her life inside out, and now when not living in the remote Buddhist nunnery she calls home in India, Mary travels the world detailing profound mystical insights that reveal wildly inspiring — and sorely needed — perspectives that shed new light on the significance of these extraordinary times.

Examine your life anew, remembering every significant event, and even those not appearing to be so important. Recall how you felt, especially those that caused you pain, and question your evaluation and subsequent belief about what happened. Ask yourself, “Was that what really happened?” Try to be open to a different interpretation from that which you made at the time. Experiment and even make up a different possibility. Let go of this fixed opinion about the person or situation, even for a moment and allow another possibility to arise. It is in your story about this person or situation that you have disavowed or devalued yourself. It is not wrong. It is only the result of a painful occurrence in your life, in which you tried to avoid and prevent yourself from feeling hurt. Your desire for self-protection is what created the walls that are now keeping you apart–keeping you in some level of fear of others.
The desire to be safe makes sense, but it is placing reliance on a defense and provides only temporary relief. It results in reactions and counter-reactions that are part of the entire web of interacting egos operating at this time. The suffering experienced by you and every other person is causing a huge divide in families, communities, societies, and nations worldwide. This suffering and subsequent seeing others as the enemy has been the cause and source of all conflict, and, ultimately, the cause of wars between nations.
Voluntarily facing your own fears and discovering your true source, which is the love and power from which you came, is the way to your personal relief, as well as that of others. As you, one by one, stop blaming others and “put down the gun”, so to speak, you begin the unraveling process. When you can see that others are only alternate versions of yourself, wanting to be loved and needed, you will begin healing. It is all the same thing for everyone. Each beautiful, unique, and precious individual just wants to be loved and needed. The heart yearns for love and acceptance.
Love is a deeply abiding presence residing in all of us, connecting us to one another, emerging from life itself. We cannot hold love, nor can we destroy it for it is the birthright of every man woman and child. Love provides answers even when we are alone. It comforts us and support us in the darkest experiences. Love’s presence is gift available at any moment, anytime, anywhere, regardless of the surroundings or circumstances. Can you put parameters on love, can you put limits on love, can you explain the inexplicable? Can you lasso the win? Lo and behold—you are love. You are an extension of Source.
Higher consciousness is a state of living in a higher reality and in a higher relationship with self and others than we are now. Just knowing we are part of a higher consciousness IS a higher consciousness. Being tapped into that higher reality allows you to participate in transforming consciousness here at this time. You have come here to do just that. As you elevate yourselves, you automatically elevate others. Nothing will remain the same after this moment in time which is expanding rapidly to create a new world. Welcome to a new existence. This is a precious time to be alive. You are on an exalted path to a new word.
The mass ego delusion has played on too long. This is the time to shift into a new world of love and forgiveness—where we take down the walls and masks and finally see our brothers and sisters, whom we had mistakenly identified as the enemy.

Despite all external appearances, including calamities, chaos, interruptions, and shocking events you see on television and the internet, you are asked to see the world through the eyes of love. This is a defining moment in the history of the world, leading to a time where honor, respect, and love are held in the hearts of people worldwide, who understand and share the vision for a new and cooperative world. Pain and suffering, the result of the contention created by humans, will begin to disappear as people join together for the common good of all people everywhere.
Positions of authority will be occupied by people who hold the highest interest and regard for all people, not just for those at the top. Beliefs in separateness from Source and from each other will be eradicated and people will feel compassion for their fellow beings, their brothers and sisters on the planet. The new cooperative system and structure has been long-awaited but is arriving now, the result of the chaos and dissension finally being played out and exposed for all to see– the erroneous beliefs that have been the underlying cause of the discord, the conflict, and pain in this competitive world.
Seeing through the eyes of love requires suspending your fears and judgments, and instead, trusting that a better world is emerging. When you are in a state of openness, you allow the divine to shine through you, assisting you in understanding all situations from a higher perspective. You will see even difficult circumstances as opportunities for exposure, understanding, and release of former ideologies containing supremacy, competition, pain, and destruction.
Joint decisions that benefit all sides for mutual satisfaction will become clear and recognizable as the only way to a peaceful society–comprised of respectful relationships at all levels. Each of you contributes to the rebuilding of the current societal framework, simply by interacting with compassion and understanding with others you see every day. You rebuild relationships here and now with how you see and relate with those closest to you.
Have faith, hope, and trust that all is well, in the face of appearances. When you see the world through the eyes of love, you see its perfection for the unfolding plan for society’s transition–a beautiful awakening, bringing a final state of relief from suffering and pain worldwide. This utopia is achievable, the state of cooperation and love is coming, and those who awaken can experience it now. It is already here for those who are awake.
See the beauty in the eyes of your fellow beings and be united and energized by understanding love is in everyone. Love is the source of all power and is the reason you exist. You have all been a part of the massive delusion that has existed for thousands of years, but is now coming to an end. Be joyous now and know you are loved and adored. The clouds are parting and the sun is shining through! You are blessed and this is the time to be alive with purpose and gratitude in your hearts. Awaken beloved children of God, the time is now!
Plans for awakening are expanding rapidly. Don’t doubt that this is happening or minimize your part in it. Be proud of your steps and contribute with the passion instilled in you. Enjoy the journey and trust that you will be prepared for each experience as it unfolds. See the blessings all around you, recognize the synchronicity in all interactions with others, and understand how all situations and events are part of the transition to awakening.
The complexities of this world can be confusing, but the conflicts and discord are the result of the ego and its desire for power and validation. Don’t be hypnotized into believing circumstances or become transfixed on the false appearances or the temporary results of artificial power. They are crumbling and dissolving, even when you can’t see it. Awakening is just that–opening your eyes to the truth, despite the appearances. It is knowing that love is the foundation of all that truly exists.
Standing powerfully in love is the path for emancipation from all previously held beliefs and artificial constructs. The dissension and complexities occurring worldwide are a reflection of the grievances and unresolved conflicts in individuals. As you find your own sanity and recognize your own misguided beliefs, you assist in the dismantling of the world’s complex societal structure that is holding a stranglehold on people everywhere. So look within to release your own fears and demons and find the underlying source of love in yourself. As you experience your personal transformation, you transform the world. As you find your own liberation, you bring freedom to the world.
All the circumstances, events and happenings in the world at this time, no matter how dire they appear, are moving forward in service to the awakening of humanity through the eyes of love. Be at peace.
Antidote to Dilute the Power of Toxic Ideas December 15, 2016

Tremendous efforts are needed to dissuade the common theme of attack and overcome that is held by so many people in this world. Peace can never come from overcoming others. Understanding relationships and finding radical new ways to achieve peace are necessary for the pursuant of freedom. Each and every one is part of the new wave of love and compassion that is needed today. It is time to stretch the current framework and create a new world.
It is important to recognize the dynamic of mutual engagement. Whether between individuals, groups or whole nations, it takes both sides to hold the relationship together. As an example, visualize a shoe lace that is intertwined as it laces the shoe with adjoining pressure, pulling the parts of the shoe together. This automatically tightens the grip of both sides of the shoe. This joint pressure holds the shoe together. But when the pressure becomes unbearable, the lace breaks—“the tie that binds them”. This breaking or bursting is usually seen as the fault of the other, but is actually the result of both sides pulling against each other—intertwined needs and emotions that keep them engaged. It is not love that binds them–it is fear.
What we are witnessing today is the bursting of pressure of two sides of the polarity so that we can transform the planet to a whole new way of being–a planetary shift like the world has never seen. We are moving out of polarity and into compassion, trust and love for one another. You are a part of the magnificent planetary evolution and that is why you are here.
Understand this. Trying to overcome another person, group or nation, by intensifying the pressure, always results in disruptions and even wars. Warring nations have been held in the same pull of intertwined relationships for centuries. Currently, it has escalated to levels never experienced before and is occurring on all fronts.
Poisoned attitudes and ideas for achieving supremacy are delivered to each other through the media of all kinds, and accelerated with the internet. Poisonous ideas, like venom, need an antidote to dilute their power. This passage of time requires people taking a stand for peace, with conviction; not just politely standing by waiting to see what will happen.
When you pronounce Truth it will be recognized. Freedom is just that—freedom from fear and freedom of speech. Persevere in spreading a message of peace, love and harmony. Do not give others authority over you or be beguiled by false platitudes and toxic ideas. Do not let fear make you feel small and insignificant.
Why are people afraid to take a stand? It stems from fear of punitive action from those in authority. Childhood experiences of being scolded by a teacher or older authority, have conditioned people to be afraid to speak the truth or take a stand against the prevailing culture. People who are in fear seek leaders who represent authoritarian parents or other adults in their childhood experience. It is time to reclaim your own authority, your inner spiritual greatness. It is time to be discerning from your own inner guidance. Bow down to no one, and ask no one to bow down to you.
In unraveling conflicts at all levels, ask the question, “When does a defense become the offense? When are we the perpetrators and when are we the perpetrated upon?” Every time we attack another, be it in families, work or the world, we tighten the interlaced pressure that will finally burst. We push others into a corner and they then counter-attack. We are locked in the stranglehold of intertwined relationships based in fear. Today’s world (and workplace) is a web of egos battling and competing for power and validation. It takes more courage to put your “gun” down–both figuratively and literally, then to attack and blame others.
Be a shining example to the world of acceptance, compassion and integrity. Open hearts with a divine message, bless those before you, and forgive your enemies. Prepare a way for a new generation and be passionate in your commitment to deliver Truth. Truth will cut through the confusion like the sun breaking through the clouds. Bask in the sunshine of our approval and share that same light of love and forgiveness with others. Blessed are you who do God’s work.

Be prepared for an advancement in civilization, preceded only by advancement of individual souls willing to challenge the ego and enter the presence of Love. Love is the almighty force of the infinite Source, the Beloved. Join with us in capturing the hearts and souls of those who are shattered in their hopes and dreams, who feel lost and afraid, unable to discern the truth, the magnificence of all that is transpiring, leading to a new world.
Budget your time to reflect your dedication to this movement by devoting time to meditation to adjoin with us, your beloved friends. Mastery of your spiritual consciousness combined with your love for humanity will lead to an opening that will shatter the glass wall of protection, allowing you to proceed forward in time of this transformation and shifting consciousness. (I had seen a glass wall that looked almost like a large glass garage door over more than one floor that made me feel like I had hit a wall a couple weeks ago)
Our beloved sister, rest your heart and soul and rely on us, your beloved guides across the dimensions of time and space. Trust with a capital T—trust in the essence and flow, guiding you with joy, providing a sustained, calm connection. Feel the essence of power coursing through you, providing inspiration and sustenance. Bargaining is not necessary—trusting the magnificent flow entering humanity through those who are reaching out, grasping for truth is the way to awakening.
Believe with your whole soul and depths of your being that this is your purpose, sweet one. Process of awakening is enhanced by dedication and willingness to look at hidden beliefs that cause you to remain separate.
Spiritual mastery requires that you own all your feelings and circumstances—everyone one of them. They are a result of your beliefs. Give up year fears of judgment, shame, blame, victimhood and guilt. Be the powerful soul that you truly are.
The consciousness of the planet is heating up to so to speak, and like a pot of water fueled by heat, it begins to bubble up and erupt to the surface. That pain and suffering felt by so many is erupting in hot spots for all to see. Adding fuel to the fire only causes it spread farther. Love is the lever to slow down the mounting heat and to bring about calm and ultimately, peace.

To emanate the energy from the spiritual choice, it is necessary to give up the grip of the limiting ego. Challenge the way you see things and confront routines. Give up fixed viewpoints and look carefully behind each opinion and point of view. Consider the source of your judgment and be open to other options and new possibilities.
You cannot be strong without giving up self-righteousness. Self-righteousness is the linchpin for unraveling the entire ego structure. The ego’s belief or desire to be superior to fellow human beings is an attempt to overcome the sense of worthlessness by denying it or projecting it onto others.
This pervasive ego strategy, employed by the multitudes, is the source of wars at all levels. The ego’s effort to exonerate itself escalates the drama and dissension. It is time to shatter these deadlocks of blame and persecution by seeing that all interactions are a process of reciprocity. The mutual dynamic is like a dance of pain and suffering between two people, each unwilling to stop.
Every pain holds the seed of freedom and peace, if felt and experienced, rather than denied or projected onto another. What is vehemently defended holds the secret to your emancipation. When you defend yourself it intensifies the grip of fear. If you but knew this, you would put down your sword and shield immediately. Behind your fear of pain and condemnation you will find the relief your soul desires.
Recognize that the obstacles you face are opportunities disguised as problems. They are an opening to your freedom. Pronounce truth and allow others the freedom to choose their own reactions or responses. Do not give into self doubt but honor yourself and your experiences. Trust that your emotions are telling you the lessons you came here to learn. Allow the feelings from your experiences to emerge so that they can be faced and released. Stop looking for peace and love outside yourself. Discover true inner peace, love and joy by looking at the very pain you seek to avoid.
You believe that if you felt your pain fully, it would destroy you. You are running from a dreaded and impending wave of fear that you believe will come crashing down on you, crushing you into oblivion. But running is exhausting. The huge darkness cast upon you by the relentless wave is like a cloud of suffering, blocking the light and love you want in your life. Stop, turn, and face your worst fear. When you do, you will find, to your utter relief, the foreboding wave is gently lapping against the shore.
To accelerate your growth and personal happiness, learn that any sense of fear, panic, pain or resistance are indicators of the parts of yourself that need healing. Know that your emotions are not caused by another but are coming from your own thoughts and stories of who you think you are. It is not true. Welcome your feelings and sensations instead of refusing to acknowledge them. Be gentle with yourself. And most importantly, give up claims of self-righteousness. They prevent your feelings from arising, they block your inner path to freedom and they alienate your fellow human beings.

Dear Lightworkers,
Believe not in what has transpired but, instead, in what is about to come into being. Follow your dreams without hesitancy and place value only on the vision of the future. Countless endeavors by many to reach new levels of understanding are necessary to make the transformation. Prepare the way for a new future everywhere you go.
The economy has led to local disarray and confusion. Chaos and violence are the result of disintegrating values. Pressure mounts and disruptions occur. Mayhem precedes the procurement of the new world.
The purest form of love comes from knowing we are all one and this can only be achieved with momentous waves of compassion. Powerful steps are needed to help bring about a new way of relating to others with compassion. Polite gestures are not enough. Choosing peace and love for one another is the path to a new world. You have an exalted message and you are deeply supported. Allow the infusion of light energy to come through you and emanate to others. It is time to wake up and awaken everyone around you.

Dear Lightworkers,
We are in a powerful journey out of darkness. Your passage is not only deserved, it was chosen before you got here. You will perform the steps you said you would do. Your journey is about to take you on a path of epic proportions. The power behind this process is accelerating and you are being prepared.
Joy will replace the pain as the swelling waves arrive with a complete departure from the waves of the past. Destruction of old structures is necessary while alignment with the new energy occurs. Choice is available for those willing to awaken. Past experiences have provided ample opportunities for expression of a new way. Pride goes before the fall.
The erosion of human values and the growing lack of respect and compassion for fellow humans have led to the massive shift. Within the collective consciousness are two themes; dark and light. Within ourselves are two themes. As we change ourselves, we affect the collective consciousness. We are interconnected and it is a false belief that we are separate. Light has been in the minority—the collective egos have been running the world. False power rules the worlds with the intention to weaken others to feel small and helpless. As you change, you change the whole.
Projects that were stalled will now be released. With angelic grace, move forward with a tidal wave of energy. Go forth with determination, proudly expanding the hopes and desires for many people. Broad measures are being taken on behalf of you who are here to do God’s work.

You were born to create, love, and serve. Since the dawning of time, human beings have been asking these basic questions:
Who am I? Why am I here? Why do I exist? And without answers, people are floundering. Feeling unprotected, humans devise schemes to protect themselves and to solidify their armor. “I don’t know who I am,” is what they are really saying. So they make it up. And these roles become so believable they believe they are real.
As you face the fictious story you made up about yourself, you will find freedom. Suffering is the result of misguided intentions that block love. It is time to awaken from the delusion and awaken your fellow beings. The infusion of energy is radiating waves of ever expanding understanding and awareness, creating an evolutionary shift of epic proportions. Ride the waves for the journey of your life.
