When You Worry About Your Adult Child November 15, 2017

I shared the following message with a coaching client a year ago who was having fear and anxiety about her grown child and her life choices. Six months later I realized the message was for me when my adult son broke his neck in a mountain biking accident. Before I go further, I want to add that he is on a path of healing and wellness due to the love from family and friends, great doctors, and his own resiliency and positive attitude.
But for me, as a mother, it was an excruciatingly painful time, especially in the uncertain time in the first few weeks. Maintaining an alignment with my divine source was a daily practice and some days for me, it was almost impossible due to my fears. The message below, as well as love and support from my family and friends, helped me. I had to read it and focus on it many, many times, but it shifted my limited view that was coming from a mother’s eyes, to one of trust and respect for my adult son’s courage and belief in himself.
Here is the message:
Children rarely follow the path their parents have envisioned for them. Each child has many twists and turns in the road to and throughout adulthood. Every child is really the prodigal son, in a sense, in that each must take his or her own journey.
When you love your children deeply you can mistakenly believe you know what is best for them, even when they are adults. It is deep love, predicated by a desire to keep them safe, that creates the illusion that telling them what to do will protect them from their own lives. You only want for their happiness and survival in what appears to be a scary world. What is not usually understood is that the child is an equal soul and has his/her own journey to be followed based on the needs of his/her own chosen destiny.
If you worry about your adult children, this message and consequent understanding should give you some relief. You cannot really impact your children’s choices based on your own fears and desires, but you can inspire and fortify their courage by demonstrating faith in them to make the right choices for themselves. Offering unconditional love but not responsibility for their decisions– no matter how their choices appear to you, is the ultimate gift you can give them. When asked, it is appropriate to offer your suggestions and wisdom but still, emphasizing that they make their own choices. Demonstrate trust that they will make the best choices for themselves. Trust that your children’s decisions are part of their experience—not right or wrong, no matter how it appears to you.
Admonishments and warnings about negative consequences to your adult child’s life are based on your own fears. It is out of love that you give your opinions, but they can be received as criticism or lack of confidence in them. In some cases, it can create a breach and an alienation in the relationship. You are learning one of life’s most difficult lessons—letting go and allowing a child its natural birthright and responsibility to follow his/her chosen path, even when it appears careless, risky, or mistaken. It is a difficult lesson because parents so love their children, and as human beings, the desire is protect them.
The release comes when parents tell their children that they trust them to make the best decisions for their own lives and, as parents, they wish only the best for them. If you, as a parent, offer an opinion and it is rejected, it helps to explain that you recognize and acknowledge that they must make their own choices. Your children’s life decisions are theirs to make and they will face their own results—those that may appear good or bad to you, but are all, ultimately, part of their awakening. Resist the unconscious desire to project your own worries and fears on your children.
All the love parents feel does not give them the ability or the responsibility to usurp their children’s power. Parents do not have the vision to see what is truly best for their children’s soul journeys. Views through a parent’s eyes cannot see the perspective that comes from a higher spiritual vantage. Parents often maintain an image of their child that is no longer accurate. Letting go of the limited image from a parent’s eyes and seeing a child as an adult is a difficult but rewarding transition. The good news is that your only work is loving each child’s own heart and letting go of fear. And as we free our children, we free ourselves.

As you relax into LOVE and Presence, divine messages are easily accessible, just awaiting your beckoning. How often have you been unaware that right beside you, in an instant, is everything you need or ever wanted and is being offered to you?
All that you require has been awaiting your acknowledgment, extending to you LOVE and a virtual communication of joy and happiness. All you need do is offer your presence and allow the messages to float into your consciousness to be written down and reviewed at any moment you may falter or have doubts. The energy soaring through you is mightier than anything you can generate on your own, relying only on your ego and limited mental thoughts. Trust is the brilliant and inescapable path to guidance. Trusting with a fixed focus on the now moment, prevents fear arising that is ever-lurking in the background, waiting to grip you at the slightest opportunity. The old pattern of fear has a well-worn path causing resistance and, therefore, blocking the powerful messages awaiting you .
The doubting mind is very powerful in influencing you to disregard anything that is not logical and perceived in the normal, everyday style. Your spiritual guidance is a very subtle, yet magnificently powerful voice, urging you to stop and be aware—to stop and be awake—to open your eyes to another world that is so brilliant everything else pales in comparison. Yet, you continue to be beguiled and mesmerized by the illusion of reality—the human drama of pain and suffering, blame and shame. Dear hearts, your help is right beside you, like a fluttering breeze, gently easing and relaxing you on a summer day. Your deepest desires are known to us and we want to assist in every way. Your joy is our joy, your bliss is our bliss, your satisfaction is our satisfaction—why would we ever refuse you? We are joined, we are one, and we are LOVE.
The world is in such turmoil but you are part of the unraveling of the grip of tension throughout the world. As you shift your attention away from fear and onto the presence of LOVE, you assist others in doing the same. As you shift into the higher frequency of joy, you emanate this energy wherever you go. If you realized how powerful you are, you would be astounded! You would never hold back in fear or self-recrimination. You would honor the beautify and LOVE within, offering only LOVE to everyone you meet. How could that be difficult? Why would you not want to do this? Too often distractions, with momentary satisfactions, are so easily available. As human beings, you are often easily dissuaded from going forth on your magnificent journey by being waylaid with small and brief destinations that offer short-lived or disappointing outcomes. Vow to be open and present to LOVE today and thrust forward into your shimmering destiny.
Relax and Trust in the Unknown May 16, 2017

Relax and enjoy a sense of relief, knowing that all that is needed from you now is your presence. Gradual awakenings and shifts will continue to occur, opening up new channels for everyone who is present. A struggle to achieve is behind you and your purpose is unfolding as we speak. Random thoughts, small actions, and loving gestures lead to big openings and magnificent opportunities. Allowing the gentle flow of spiritual guidance to arrive is all you need to do now. Peaceful surroundings shift your vibration and help you relax and expand your purpose. Blessings are coming your way. The power of the present cannot be overstated or emphasized enough. The present is the only place where you can receive divine guidance. Everything else is in your mind based on past experiences and anxieties about the future. But you can relax now and enjoy the relief that all power is in the present moment.
Trusting in the unknown is the recognition that if you already knew the next step you would have done it. The new can only arise from the unknown—the known has already happened. Choices are being offered daily to start anew, to find a better way, and to allow the guidance to move you in the direction of love, joy, peace, and hope. Current tragedies and conflicts, most in the recent past, and those locked in infamy, are now being used to awaken others and bring about a new and compassionate world. Go forth in joy, sharing a message of hope and endurance. Rejoice in every way and recognize how easily you are being guided to a new life.
Humans consciousness has been rooted in suffering for eons. A decision now to awaken from the madness is being made by countless individuals which is bringing about an accelerated jump forward. The stark contrasts at this time have augmented the jump forward and are catapulting humanity to awaken and shift into a new dimension.
Blessed are those few who have chosen to be leaders in this incredible and earthshaking shift. Blind ambition by some have created this out of balance world situation which cannot be sustained. Mounting pressures, clashes, and threats of violent actions toward other fellow human beings are causing shattering results which will catapult the world and its culture in this dramatic shift. Grand, sweeping measures are being taken by many, assisting the transformation and leading to a better place, a new direction, and the procurement of a new world.
The sudden awareness that suffering is no longer necessary is releasing individuals from the stranglehold of believing that anguish has been imposed upon them, rather than a result of their own and collective egos. Supreme efforts are now being made by so many to burst out of past limitations, to extinguish the old ways, to dissolve the confines of longstanding beliefs, and to give up the fear of dominance by those who would control the world through power over others. These steps to awakening can only be done by being powerfully connected to the highest levels of spiritual consciousness–love. Love is the power that sustains all life and removes all doubt. It is the power that moves mountains and endures throughout eternity. Love is the reason you exist.
As you relax into presence of love and trust in the unknown, you help bring about a dramatic shift in the world consciousness and experiences of the collective, ultimately leading to freedom for people everywhere. Let go and allow the divine presence to guide and support you. Be a part of this beautiful evolution that has been predicted for thousands of years. It is why you are here.

Antidote to Dilute the Power of Toxic Ideas December 15, 2016

Tremendous efforts are needed to dissuade the common theme of attack and overcome that is held by so many people in this world. Peace can never come from overcoming others. Understanding relationships and finding radical new ways to achieve peace are necessary for the pursuant of freedom. Each and every one is part of the new wave of love and compassion that is needed today. It is time to stretch the current framework and create a new world.
It is important to recognize the dynamic of mutual engagement. Whether between individuals, groups or whole nations, it takes both sides to hold the relationship together. As an example, visualize a shoe lace that is intertwined as it laces the shoe with adjoining pressure, pulling the parts of the shoe together. This automatically tightens the grip of both sides of the shoe. This joint pressure holds the shoe together. But when the pressure becomes unbearable, the lace breaks—“the tie that binds them”. This breaking or bursting is usually seen as the fault of the other, but is actually the result of both sides pulling against each other—intertwined needs and emotions that keep them engaged. It is not love that binds them–it is fear.
What we are witnessing today is the bursting of pressure of two sides of the polarity so that we can transform the planet to a whole new way of being–a planetary shift like the world has never seen. We are moving out of polarity and into compassion, trust and love for one another. You are a part of the magnificent planetary evolution and that is why you are here.
Understand this. Trying to overcome another person, group or nation, by intensifying the pressure, always results in disruptions and even wars. Warring nations have been held in the same pull of intertwined relationships for centuries. Currently, it has escalated to levels never experienced before and is occurring on all fronts.
Poisoned attitudes and ideas for achieving supremacy are delivered to each other through the media of all kinds, and accelerated with the internet. Poisonous ideas, like venom, need an antidote to dilute their power. This passage of time requires people taking a stand for peace, with conviction; not just politely standing by waiting to see what will happen.
When you pronounce Truth it will be recognized. Freedom is just that—freedom from fear and freedom of speech. Persevere in spreading a message of peace, love and harmony. Do not give others authority over you or be beguiled by false platitudes and toxic ideas. Do not let fear make you feel small and insignificant.
Why are people afraid to take a stand? It stems from fear of punitive action from those in authority. Childhood experiences of being scolded by a teacher or older authority, have conditioned people to be afraid to speak the truth or take a stand against the prevailing culture. People who are in fear seek leaders who represent authoritarian parents or other adults in their childhood experience. It is time to reclaim your own authority, your inner spiritual greatness. It is time to be discerning from your own inner guidance. Bow down to no one, and ask no one to bow down to you.
In unraveling conflicts at all levels, ask the question, “When does a defense become the offense? When are we the perpetrators and when are we the perpetrated upon?” Every time we attack another, be it in families, work or the world, we tighten the interlaced pressure that will finally burst. We push others into a corner and they then counter-attack. We are locked in the stranglehold of intertwined relationships based in fear. Today’s world (and workplace) is a web of egos battling and competing for power and validation. It takes more courage to put your “gun” down–both figuratively and literally, then to attack and blame others.
Be a shining example to the world of acceptance, compassion and integrity. Open hearts with a divine message, bless those before you, and forgive your enemies. Prepare a way for a new generation and be passionate in your commitment to deliver Truth. Truth will cut through the confusion like the sun breaking through the clouds. Bask in the sunshine of our approval and share that same light of love and forgiveness with others. Blessed are you who do God’s work.

Dismantle Walls of Defense November 8, 2016

It is essential that you listen to this. When you feel stuck, your shadow side has blocked your flow of communication with God and, hence, your fellow brothers and sisters. It will continue to block if you allow it. It is essential that you recover and restore your beautiful essence. The power to be your beautiful self and follow your destiny will be restored and rebuilt, allowing you to move forward as you never have before, when you allow your blocks to arise. Wake up from the dreadful dream, this nightmare of self-imprisonment. The shadow is preventing you from living your most joyful life.
This is categorically the most important thing you can do to stand up and come out of your situation, and to, also, help others escape this paralyzing grip of misfortune and mayhem. The world is in an epic time of catastrophic events. Blaming others doesn’t help. Challenge with sincere conviction all the words that reduce your power and allow us to help you work with the undulating, divine energy pulsating through you. Be bold, be tireless, committed and unflinching. Take care of yourself and use your energy as most appropriate. Vow to be awake and present. Rely on love. In its purest form, love removes all doubt. Stop asking for others to save you. BE powerful. Allow the warrior within to arise.
Jesus prepared the way and illuminated the path. Jesus did not disavow himself, but instead rose to the highest level. His impact on the world was a result of his willingness to share the power of the divine message he carried. You must commit to the will of fate and trust so that your message might reach the millions of people who are lost, downtrodden, paralyzed, helpless and hopeless. Wake up from your dream of despair. You are anointed to joyfully live the life you came to live. This is your birthright. You can maintain this state when you allow the full force and divine power behind you, lifting you to heights you have never reached before.
You can bring down walls of fear in others with your guided words, actions and understandings. You melt resistance in others through your ability to touch the very deepest part of their souls, where the pain is hidden and buried, denied and held tightly. Holding the pain within is exhausting.
Your underdog role is over. Denounce it, once and for all. Let go of the nightmare. Rely on us, your loving guidance, go within, and reflect within at every opportunity. These are heart wrenching times. As you wake up to the core of who you are you can bridge understanding to help reveal the walls of defense, so they can be dismantled and taken down.
Denial is a powerful force that keeps us locked in our fears. Your willingness to face your own fears is what is allowing you to lead others. The pain you experience is from being on the razor’s edge—the pain comes because you are trying so hard to manage all the stories of what you believe to be true. And while trying to do the right things, that you believe you must do, you are missing the wholeness, the solid truth and base of who you are, the core of you–which is love. You don’t have to try to be loving. You are love.
